"I Am Here and You Are Mine" is the latest single from Music Composer, Edoardo Gastaldi. 

 

 

Gastaldi states, "'I Am Here and You Are Mine' is a reflective and introspective piano composition. The interaction between the notes and the residual mechanical noise of the instrument unravel a set full of density and nostalgia. The imaginary landscape built throughout the creation depicts moments and places where time seems to stop, where the tough reality seems to fade and leave space for the stillness and remarkability of this moment. In the context of the mix, there is also a hazy, subtle, and lost romance feel."

This is indicative of the musician's work. The pieces that he composes are sure to take the listener to a world far away. His last release, "Flores Veritatis" on June 8 of this year, has already been nominated for Best Single July 2023 by One World Music Radio, a European Web Radio that supports Independent Artists. The nomination is on par with world renowned musician, Diane Arkenstone, which is an impressive feat at just 25 years old. 


Born in 1998, Edoardo Gastaldi is based in Venice, Italy. For several years, he was formally trained in musical subjects ranging from Classical piano to music theory. It wasn't until the summer of 2021, that he started publishing his compositions and productions. With the influences of 17th-19th century pianists and his passion for experimentation, Gastaldi's music became an ever-evolving equilibrium among Modern Classical, Ambient, and Post-Rock Music. The gloomy, distant harmonic sound layers are often held together and brightened by leading stringed instruments such as piano and guitar. His creations have been inspired by the sounds of contemporary artists such as Johan Söderqvist, Hammock, Tony Anderson, Leonard Petersen, Atli Örvarsson, Stephen Porter, Ronit Kirchman, Sigur Rós and Nils Frahm.

    "War, in its harsh reality, has always profoundly marked the history of humanity, leaving behind indelible scars. One historical event that continues to reverberate through the generations is definitely the Second World War.
